Repairs at a University

Situated on a university campus and located in Chicago's Loop stands this historic masonry building. Eugene Matthews provided a stage, operators and pedestrian protection for the completion of a facade exam by a licensed engineer. Following the completion of the facade inspection, Eugene Matthews removed and replaced damaged brick and rebuilt cracked brick columns along the full height of the building, as identified by the engineer. Over 3,000 brick were replaced, and secured with wall ties. New brick matched existing in size, color and texture.
